The inner does the work: openings at the bottom draw water up from the reservoir, and the curved top edge gives you a gap for topping up and a tab to lift it out. It's the set for the plant person who likes to rearrange, and a gift that keeps being useful long after the first week.

What you get
Four pieces. Two outer pots — one curved, one straight-sided, both finely ribbed — and two inner planters, so both pots can hold a plant at once rather than one sitting empty.Print the inners in a contrasting color and they read as a deliberate detail when you lift one out.
What it suits
Indoor plants, herbs and small houseplants. The reservoir means less frequent watering than a plain pot.
