Zara Adaptive Lamp
The sideboard piece guests notice first, and ask about second.
Five stacked rings with a soft square footprint, ribbed all the way round. Unlit it reads as a piece of pottery; lit, the ridges break the light into horizontal bands that shift as you move past.
Part of SLang's Adaptive series, which means the same shade works two ways depending on which part you screw into it. Zara is the lamp for the sideboard you want guests to notice first.

Table Lamp — shade and weighted screw-in base. This is the one in every photo, and the one it was designed around. Pendant — shade and hanging socket. Screws onto a standard pendant cord and drops from the ceiling. Complete System — shade, base and hanging socket. Change what it is whenever the room changes.Specifications
Designed by Slang. The base and socket both screw directly into the shade — no glue, no tools. The base sits entirely inside the shade, so what you see is a lamp standing on its own with nothing showing underneath.
Electrical hardware not included. Fits a standard E26 socket. You supply the cord set and bulb. An alternative base sized for a low-voltage LED kit is available on request.Made to order
Printed to order in our Chicago workshop, as pictured.
Care
Dust the ridges with a soft brush. LED bulbs only — printed plastic softens with heat.
