David by Michelangelo Vase
A little art history, a little wit, one shelf.
Michelangelo's David, cut at the neck and opened at the crown. The curls are carved deep enough to hold shadow and the tilt of the head is kept, which is what makes it unmistakably David rather than a generic classical head.
Fill it with wheat or pampas and the stems read as an extension of the hair. It's the vase for someone who wants their shelf to say something — a little art history, a little wit — and the gift for the friend who'd never buy it for themselves.

What it holds
Dried stems and grasses through the opening. Wheat and pampas suit it — they read as an extension of the hair. For fresh flowers, use a glass or plastic liner inside, as printed plastic isn't watertight.
Made to order
Printed to order in our Chicago workshop, as pictured.
Care
Dust the curls with a soft brush — the deep carving holds dust. Keep out of direct sun.
