Shiva Statue
A quiet presence for the shelf, the altar, the corner where you sit still.
Shiva, seated in meditation. Legs crossed, hands resting, the pose held still rather than dramatic — no dancing figure, no raised arms, just the calm of the seated form. It's the image people keep for the stillness it brings into a room, not for the spectacle.
The hair, the beads and the folds at the waist are carved deep enough to read from across the room, so it holds a prayer corner or a shelf on its own. Given as a gift, it says something a card can't: I know what steadies you.
